As a military family we frequently find ourselves separated. So when we are together it's very important that we participate in our family favorite bonding rituals. Some families play soft-ball together. Others go bowling. Still, others collect rare pirate artifacts. O.K. maybe not a lot do that last one.

The Pattons? We listen to audio books while driving to and from adventures. It's like a mini adventure, within our days fun.

We mostly use audible for access to thousands of titles we love and we always find great new adventures to listen to in Addicus 'recommended titles'.

Here's a few of our favorite recommendations.

This book and magic and rescue had us sitting in parking lots just trying to finish chapters.

We listened to all FOUR books with our kids. Don't let anyone tell you that kids don't listen. We LOVED the discussions these book incited in our days.

With clever twists on classic fairy tale tropes, we found this book pretty exciting.

Can't stop giggling at Sandersons silly humor. We're half way through the second book and my kids are literally planning a trip to the Library of Alexandria with plans to give up their souls to read it's wonders.

These books are where I first realized that ,y littles were paying more attention than I was.

I hope these titles serve your family as they have served ours. I hope they can put you on a path of literary enjoyment for life!

Maybe Addicus will be encouraged to write a post of all the books HE listens too. It's A LOT!

For now? Leave a comment and let us know what you're listening too. We love getting recommendations too.

Taps, taps. Lights out.
